Ribas deve receber instalação da maior fábrica de celulose do mundo

Após anunciar a construção da terceira fábrica de celulose em Mato Grosso do Sul, que será instalada no município de Ribas do Rio Pardo, o governador André Puccinelli confirmou hoje (14) que há possibilidade de a empresa Eldorado Brasil, maior empresa da linha de celulose do mundo, vir para o Estado. De acordo com o governador, a implantação da fábrica está prevista para julho de 2014.

Segundo Puccinelli, Mato Grosso do Sul concede incentivos fiscais, que podem chegar a 90% de isenção de ICMS por até 20 anos, a indústrias interessadas em se expandir no Estado. Hoje, as duas empresas já instaladas no Estado produzem 1,3 milhão de toneladas por ano (Fibria) e 1,5 milhões de toneladas por ano (Eldorado). O Estado tem mais de 600 mil hectares de florestas plantadas.
